The new EU Packaging Regulation (PPWR – Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation) will come into force directly on August 12, 2026. From this date, it will apply directly across the EU, without the need for national transposition, and will bring extensive new obligations for companies that package and place goods on the market – including conformity assessments and declarations for packaging, a technical documentation requirement, and new substance restrictions (e.g., stricter PFAS limits for food-contact packaging).

After careful consideration, we have decided to close our online shop at this time. The new requirements entail an effort – legal, organizational, and financial – that is no longer sustainable for our business in this form. Further tightening of regulations has also already been announced for February 2027 and the subsequent years up to 2030, meaning that the requirements will foreseeably continue to increase.
